Payrate:
$21.00 to $25.00 per hr. (Depending on shift & experience)
Job Summary:
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for providing day-to-day preventative maintenance, repair, machine setup, and troubleshooting necessary to maintain the facility and manufacturing equipment. The Maintenance Tech will also handle emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service. This role involves working closely with all levels of management and hourly employees to ensure safety and promote our safety culture. Essential Duties Install, adjust, troubleshoot, repair production equipment & machines as needed. Operate a variety of hand and power tools, in addition to hoists and cranes Weld and use cutting torch as required. Work with the maintenance electrician to troubleshoot-diagnose electrical issues. Install equipment and electrical components & test to ensure proper functioning. Replace and install parts as needed. Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation. Perform additional duties as assigned by the management. Required Skills / Qualifications Proficiency in using hand and power tools. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to perform welding and cutting tasks. Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 pounds. This position may require various physical activities, including but not limited to walking, standing, bending, using hands and fingers to grasp, push, and lift items. Must pass
