This position supports plant equipment, building systems, utilities, and facility improvement activities as directed by the Facility Manager. Responsibility and Authority Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing issues; escalate complex problems as required. Inspect and support air conditioning, compressed air, extraction, lighting, fire protection, and other peripheral facility systems. Complete maintenance work orders, checklists, inspection records, and equipment documentation accurately and on time. Assist with the installation, relocation, and start-up of equipment and facility improvement projects. Respond to maintenance requests and equipment issues to help minimize production interruptions and facility downtime. Maintain tools, spare parts, maintenance equipment, and work areas in a safe and orderly condition. Support outside contractors and service providers during maintenance and repair activities as directed. Perform routine building and equipment inspections and report unsafe, damaged, or abnormal conditions. Follow required lockout/tagout, PPE, electrical safety, and other plant safety procedures. Assist with internal and external facility upkeep and general maintenance activities as needed. Participate in CIP, 5S, and continuous improvement activities related to plant maintenance. Environmental Management System Responsibility In reference to the responsibilities of the environmental management system, support the monitoring and maintenance of the environmental system by: Following the environmental policy and applicable requirements for waste handling, spill prevention, chemical use, and facility maintenance activities. Required knowledge and skills (Competencies) Basic knowledge and experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical diagrams. Experience maintaining industrial plant tools, equipment, and facility systems. Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and plumbing systems. Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and safe use of hand and power tools. Basic knowledge of

14001, OSHA, safety, and environmental requirements. Basic computer skills, including MS Office and maintenance/work-order systems. Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team. Strong troubleshooting, organization, and problem-solving skills. English preferred; availability for overtime or after-hours support when required. Education and/or Experience Required High school diploma or GED required; technical training in electrical, electromechanical, industrial maintenance, or a related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance, facilities, or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.

Pay:

From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
