Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Worker, where your skills will keep our facilities safe, functional, and beautiful! This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from landscaping and lawn care to building repairs and equipment maintenance. You'll be a vital part of ensuring our environment is well-maintained, inviting, and operationally efficient. If you thrive in a hands-on role that combines technical skills with outdoor work, this position is perfect for you! Duties Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and lawn care to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy Operate hand tools, power tools, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently for various repair and installation projects Maintain hardscape features such as walkways, patios, and retaining walls to ensure durability and aesthetic appeal Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and perform repairs promptly Support irrigation system installation and repairs to promote healthy landscaping Carry out general building maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry as needed Experience Proven experience with mechanical knowledge related to building systems, landscaping equipment, or construction tools Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices such as tree care, horticulture, and gardening techniques Hands-on experience operating lawn mowers, trimmers, excavators, and other power tools Knowledge of irrigation systems, snow plowing procedures, and hardscape installation is highly desirable Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Strong understanding of maintenance procedures across different trades including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs Excellent problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and safely
