Technician Helper FM3 Construction LLC Richmond, TX Job Details Part-time $16 - $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Outdoor work experience Driver's License Materials handling Mechanical knowledge Building interior maintenance Full Job Description FM3 Construction is looking for a dependable Technician Helper to assist our technicians with commercial facility maintenance and repair work throughout the Houston area. This is an entry-level/helper position . You do not need to know every trade. We are looking for someone who can follow directions, work with their hands, use basic tools, and wants to learn. What You'll Be Doing Assist technicians with daily service calls and maintenance work Carry, load, and unload tools and materials Help set up and clean up job sites Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs Help with ceiling tiles, doors, hardware, lighting, drywall, painting, and other maintenance tasks Make occasional material and supply runs Hold ladders, move equipment, and assist technicians as needed Keep tools, vehicles, and work areas organized Follow technician instructions and company safety procedures What We're Looking For Reliable transportation Valid driver's license Dependable and on time Able to follow instructions Basic knowledge of hand and power tools Mechanically inclined and willing to learn Able to lift 50+ lbs Comfortable working on ladders Able to work indoors and outdoors Professional appearance and attitude around customers Must be able to pass a background check Experience is helpful but not required. We would rather hire someone dependable with common sense and a willingness to learn than someone experienced who cannot be counted on. Opportunity to Grow This position is intended to support an experienced technician, but there is an opportunity to learn multiple areas of commercial facility maintenance and eventually move into a technician position with increased responsibilities and pay.
