General Information:
The Facility Mechanical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous operation of facility systems and production support equipment. The role focuses on mechanical systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives with strong emphasis on sustainability.
Your Responsibilities:
Facility & Utility Systems:
Maintain HVAC systems (AHUs, chillers, cooling towers). Maintain compressed air systems. Maintain industrial/process water systems. Monitor system performance and improve efficiency and uptime.
Maintenance & Reliability:
Develop and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Conduct root cause failure analysis (RCFA). Use
SAP CMMS
for planning and tracking. Optimize spare parts and maintenance strategies.
Troubleshooting & Technical Support:
Provide advanced mechanical troubleshooting. Apply basic electrical knowledge for system troubleshooting. Support breakdown recovery and implement permanent corrective action.
Capital Projects & Engineering:
Support facility capital projects and upgrades. Use AutoCAD for layouts and documentation. Develop scopes and coordinate contractors.
Your Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering 3+ years manufacturing/facilities or related experience Strong mechanical systems knowledge AutoCAD experience Basic electrical knowledge. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing (automotive) experience. BMS experience, SAP or CMMS experience. Data modeling/analytics experience. Lean/Six Sigma.
