Job Summary Responsible for performing electrical, plumbing, building, and general facility repairs, as well as troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery and equipment throughout the facility. Core Responsibilities Perform electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs and maintenance. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery and equipment. Diagnose electrical and electronic issues and repair or replace equipment and components as needed. Perform fabrication and maintenance work. Obtain and maintain a forklift operator's license and safely operate a forklift. Cut, shape, and join metal parts using various fabrication techniques. Perform welding and cutting using electric arc, oxyacetylene, and other welding methods in horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. Maintain company-provided tools and provide personal tools required to perform the duties of the position. Enter equipment records, maintenance data, and service notes into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). Read and interpret drawings, diagnose equipment issues, troubleshoot problems, and complete repairs independently. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Pay:
Up to $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): How many years of hands-on experience do you have in industrial, commercial, or facility maintenance? What types of electrical systems and equipment have you diagnosed, repaired, or maintained? Please provide examples of the equipment or systems you have worked with. What experience do you have troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery? Please describe the types of equipment involved. Please describe your experience performing plumbing, building, and general facility repairs. What types of repairs have you handled independently? What welding and metal fabrication experience do you have? Please identify the welding processes you are experienced with, such as electric arc or oxyacetylene, and the positions in which you have performed welding. Are you currently licensed or certified to operate a forklift? If yes, please indicate the type of certification/license and your experience operating forklifts. If not, are you able to obtain the required license if selected? How comfortable are you reading technical drawings, schematics, or equipment documentation and using them to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently? What experience do you have using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or similar system to document work orders, equipment records, maintenance activities, or repair notes? This position requires safely using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance equipment. Do you have experience performing these duties in accordance with applicable safety procedures? This position requires performing a combination of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fabrication, and general maintenance duties throughout a facility.
