Job Title:
Maintenance Technician III Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician III, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our manufacturing equipment within a metal fabrication facility. You will primarily focus on performing maintenance on a new blasting machine, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and utility equipment while adhering to safety procedures. Support the installation of new equipment and assist machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. Document all repairs and maintenance activities in the company's system, ensuring transparency and teamwork. Maintain and repair building systems, including plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems, and electrical systems. Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including handling hazardous waste, lock out/tag out protocols, and using hearing and eye protection. Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as assigned. Essential Skills Associate's Degree in Electrical-Mechanical or Industrial Mechanics. Knowledge of PLCs, CMMS, and Microsoft Office. 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in any industry. Mechanical experience with belts, gears, bearings, motors, VFDs, and sensors. Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair skills. Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Welding, cutting, or fabrication experience. Oilfield experience is acceptable. Good job tenure without frequent job changes. Why Work Here? Shift options include 1st shift from 6am-4:30pm Mon-Thurs, 2nd shift from 4pm-2:30am Mon-Thurs, and 3rd shift from 6am-6:30pm Fri-Sun. Shift differentials apply, with additional compensation for night and weekend work. The work environment involves maintaining and repairing equipment such as benders, lasers, pipe plasmas, welding machines, forklifts, paint booths, blasters, conveyors, and CNC machines. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Seguin, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.
