The maintenance technician will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain facility. This person will work in a safe manner and take appropriate action to ensure safety of themselves and others in building.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on building interior and exterior, including plumbing. Contact and schedule vendors and contractors for necessary building repairs and emergencies that are outside the scope of routine maintenance. Maintain a schedule of when maintenance has been performed and when next service is due. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts. Use a variety of hand/power tools and material handling equipment while performing duties. Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those to management. Comply with safety regulations. Maintain and clean warehouse, office and bathrooms.
Requirements:
2-5 years of maintenance experience with a small to mid-sized company. Be able to stand, walk, bend, and climbing all day. Frequently lifting and moving items up to and exceeding 75 pounds. High school diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience in maintenance. Good decision making, communication and time management skills. Must be thorough, dependable, motivated and possess repair skills.
