- Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in equipment set-up and calibration tasks.
- Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Works with engineers to optimize and repair equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance for manufacturing equipment in coordination with company standards and objectives
- Ensures timely response to restore manufacturing equipment to production status
- Prioritizes and maintains work schedules based on production deadlines and ensures deadlines are met
- Maintains a reporting system that reflects schedules, performance, and procedures
- Emergency Response Team (ERT), Hazwoper Certification Ancillary Job Functions Performs other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor, and /or manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or Up to one-year related experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics diagrams, and P&IDs Preferred Qualifications One or more years of relevant work experience Associate's degree or certificate in a related field of study Expertise in making critical technical decisions. Strong leadership skills. Ability to multitask effectively. Proficient in troubleshooting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in lock out tag out (LOTO) procedures. Familiarity with flammable, inert, and toxic gases. Knowledgeable about acids, bases, and hazardous chemicals, including Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Expertise, talents, characteristics and behaviors which are typically representative, but not all-inclusive, of those commonly associated with the job.- Demonstrate knowledge and expertise in equipment repair and maintenance
- Display initiative and accept responsibility for a department section under minimal supervision
- Apply knowledge and skills, and confer with leadership, to develop and execute section strategy
- Understand implications of department/division activities, exercise judgment and discretion in recommending and implementing strategies and improvements
- Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g., Microsoft Office, other software or hardware, manufacturing systems and equipment, etc.)
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to explain complex and strategic concepts among diverse audiences, including senior management
