Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to ensure the optimal operation and upkeep of our facilities. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining building systems, performing minor repairs, and supporting the overall safety and functionality of our environment. Your expertise will help create a safe, efficient, and welcoming space for all occupants and visitors. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and mechanical equipment. Changing of light bulbs and batteries throughout the facility. Maintain HVAC systems by troubleshooting issues, replacing filters, and repairing components to ensure optimal climate control. Carry out plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including fixing leaks, clearing blockages, and replacing fixtures. Execute carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, drywall, or other interior structures to uphold building integrity. Support facilities equipment maintenance by servicing elevators, fire safety systems, and other essential infrastructure. Perform maintenance painting to keep interior spaces looking professional and inviting. Ensure all work complies with safety standards while providing excellent customer service to internal teams or external contractors when required. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Proficiency in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Ability to read schematics and operate electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance painting techniques. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical equipment repair is highly desirable. Familiarity with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO) procedures within residential or commercial settings. Strong communication skills in English to facilitate clear instructions and documentation. Leadership qualities with the ability to work independently or lead small teams during maintenance projects. Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately for troubleshooting purposes. Flexibility to respond promptly to emergency repairs or urgent maintenance requests.
