Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Technician with strong preventive and corrective maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience maintaining production equipment, preferably in wood truss manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment Maintain and repair equipment including: MiTek Wizard Tables Automated roller conveyor systems Component saws and precision cutting equipment Hydraulic and pneumatic systems Chain drives, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Perform inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and equipment calibration Reduce downtime through effective preventive maintenance Read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical drawings, and schematics Ensure compliance with OSHA and workplace safety standards Collaborate with production teams to maintain operational efficiency Qualifications Manufacturing maintenance experience required Strong industrial equipment repair and troubleshooting skills Experience with MiTek truss manufacturing equipment highly preferred Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Strong commitment to safety, quality, and equipment reliability
