Job Description

CNC Maintenance TechnicianLocation:
Temple, TXCompensation:

$35 - $42/hr

+ Overtime

We are seeking a CNC Maintenance Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role supporting advanced CNC machinery and production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair CNC machining centers, lathes, saws, and other production equipmentTroubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systemsPerform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize machine reliability and uptimeIdentify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actionsRepair, replace, test, and adjust machine components as neededInterpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manualsSupport machine alignments, calibrations, and accuracy verification activitiesWork closely with production teams to reduce downtime and improve efficiencyMaintain maintenance logs, repair records, and parts inventory documentationAssist with equipment upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement initiativesParticipate in installation and startup of new manufacturing equipmentMentor and provide technical guidance to junior maintenance techniciansFollow all safety procedures, including OSHA and Lockout/Tagout requirementsProvide occasional after-hours or emergency maintenance support when neededQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required7+ years of CNC maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, Mazak, or similar platformsExperience troubleshooting servo drives, motors, HMIs, controls, power supplies, and PLC-related systemsAbility to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment independentlyStrong understanding of industrial automation and machine control systemsAbility to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance documentationPreferred ExperienceMulti-axis CNC machining equipmentVibration analysis, thermal imaging, laser alignment, or other predictive maintenance technologiesEquipment commissioning and startup activitiesContinuous improvement and reliability-focused maintenance programsTraining, mentoring, or lead technician responsibilitiesBenefitsCompetitive CompensationOvertime OpportunitiesMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company contributionPaid vacation and holidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesStable manufacturing environment with long-term growth potential
