Show urgency in addressing the needs of the production and support departments within the division Perform preventative and proactive maintenance on facility and facility equipment Help drive continuous improvements in the business Operating powered tools, industrial powered equipment, and other maintenance equipment. Effectively communicating with upstream and downstream Team Members to address safety, quality and efficiency issues/concerns Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Nucor Buildings Group Texas will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future) Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Preferred Qualifications:
Preventative maintenance expertise- Routine inspections, early issue detection, and timely repairs to reduce downtime Advanced troubleshooting
- Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Automation & process improvement
- Identify and implement efficiency and reliability enhancements Overhead crane systems
- Experience with VFDs, inspections, maintenance, and repairs Powered industrial truck maintenance
