Job Description
We are seeking a reliable Make-Ready Technician to prepare apartment homes for new move-ins as well as other maintenance activities on the property as needed. This position mainly focuses on turning vacant units quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Ideal candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented, and experienced in apartment maintenance. Responsibilities Prepare vacant units for move-in (make-ready / turns) Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs Patch, texture, and paint walls as needed Replace fixtures, locks, blinds, appliances, and hardware Inspect units and report larger repair needs Assist maintenance team with preventative maintenance Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Prior apartment maintenance or make-ready experience preferred Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications EPA certification HVAC experience Property maintenance
