Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pool Technician and become the essential expert responsible for maintaining safe, clean, and beautifully functioning aquatic environments. In this role, you will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot equipment issues, handle water treatment chemicals, and ensure all pool systems operate efficiently. Your proactive approach will help deliver exceptional aquatic experiences for our clients while maintaining the highest standards of safety and cleanliness. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in outdoor settings, ensuring pools are always ready for enjoyment. Duties Conduct regular inspections of pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and other equipment to ensure optimal operation. Perform routine pool cleaning tasks including skimming, vacuuming, brushing surfaces, and emptying skimmer baskets. Balance pool chemistry by testing water quality and adjusting chemical levels such as chlorine, pH, alkalinity, and stabilizers to maintain safe water conditions. Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment using hand tools and power tools; perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan. Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately according to safety protocols and industry standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, chemical treatments, repairs, and inspections for compliance and reporting purposes. Operate company vehicles responsibly to transport tools, chemicals, and equipment between job sites while adhering to safety regulations. Requirements Proven experience with pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, heaters, and other equipment. Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely with proper understanding of chemical agent handling procedures. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients or facility staff. Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions; comfortable performing physical tasks that require standing, bending, or lifting. Familiarity with troubleshooting pool equipment issues quickly and effectively. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred. Knowledge of pool chemistry balancing techniques and routine cleaning procedures using hand tools and power tools. Join us in delivering outstanding aquatic environments!
