Part-Time Maintenance Technician Location:
Tulia, TX Schedule:
Part-Time - Approximately 20 hours per week About the Role We are seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to support the daily maintenance needs of an apartment community. This position is responsible for completing routine repairs, responding to service requests, maintaining common areas, and preparing vacant apartments for new residents. Key Responsibilities Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, appliances, carpentry, and painting. Complete apartment make-ready tasks such as patching, painting, minor repairs, and preparing units for move-in. Maintain the property's common areas, grounds, and exterior areas. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner. Help ensure the property remains safe, clean, and well-maintained. Communicate maintenance needs, supply requirements, and larger repair concerns to management. Follow established safety procedures and maintenance standards. Qualifications Previous experience in apartment maintenance, facilities, property maintenance, or a related field preferred. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Reliable transportation. Basic maintenance tools preferred. Compensation & Schedule Competitive hourly pay based on experience. Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week .
