Pool Service Technician

Responsibilities Conduct regular pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and water balancing to maintain clarity and hygiene standards Perform routine inspections of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators to identify issues early Utilize hand tools and power tools to repair or replace faulty equipment efficiently and safely Maintain detailed service records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed at each site Troubleshoot mechanical problems with pool systems and execute timely repairs to minimize downtime Assist with opening and closing pools according to seasonal schedules and safety protocols Follow safety guidelines diligently during all service procedures to ensure a secure working environment Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex pool systems and components Experience with equipment repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance in a pool or related setting Proficiency in pool maintenance tasks such as water testing, chemical balancing, and cleaning techniques Familiarity with hand tools and power tools necessary for equipment repair and installation Prior service technician experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy equipment, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and safety compliance

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
