Job Description

Position Summary Texas Manufacturing Co. is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of our manufacturing equipment and facility systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment and possess a strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical troubleshooting, and welding equipment. This position plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, ensuring safe operation of equipment, and supporting production goals. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Diagnose equipment failures and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. Maintain welding equipment, saws, fabrication equipment, conveyors, compressors, and other production machinery. Assist with installation, relocation, and commissioning of equipment. Perform routine facility maintenance as needed. Maintain maintenance logs and work order documentation. Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Coordinate with production personnel to prioritize maintenance activities. QualificationsRequired Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills. Basic electrical knowledge including motors, controls, and electrical components. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and drawings. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Preferred Experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems. Knowledge of welding equipment and fabrication machinery. Welding experience (MIG, TIG, or Stick). Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Forklift or man-lift certification. PLC troubleshooting experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb throughout the workday. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
