Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of hotel facilities, including mechanical systems, appliances, HVAC/R equipment, and other building infrastructure. Your expertise will help create a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for our guests and staff. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools. Conduct appliance repairs and service calls efficiently to minimize downtime. Assist with construction or renovation projects as needed, ensuring all work meets safety standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during major repairs or upgrades to ensure timely completion. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to uphold guest satisfaction and safety. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with strong appliance repair skills. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and mechanical principles. Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair and general building maintenance. Experience in construction or facility upgrades is a plus. Leadership skills to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Strong communication skills to document work accurately and collaborate with team members.
