Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly proactive, detail-oriented professional with exceptional mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills to oversee infrastructure upkeep, preventive maintenance, and general facility repairs. In this vital position, you will be enhancing equipment performance and reliability while maintaining and continuously upgrading essential facility infrastructure. This role will directly drive operational efficiency, ensure strict regulatory compliance, and support seamless daily facility operations. Responsibilities Perform regular inspections and repairs on forklifts and other industrial vehicles. Troubleshoot and resolve facility maintenance issues, including door repairs, lock replacements, and hardware adjustments. Address plumbing issues, including clogs, leaks, and fixture maintenance. Ensure all facility equipment and systems are compliant with company SOPs and safety regulations. Respond promptly to facility breakdowns and equipment issues to minimize downtime. Maintain a systematic approach to facility upkeep, tracking and resolving issues efficiently. Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to maintain a clean, organized facility. Adhere to all food safety, allergen control, and cleanliness protocols as per the company's GMP standards. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Technical certification in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred. Proven experience in general facility maintenance, including mechanical, plumbing, and basic electrical systems. Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of up to 8 hours. Knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance practices and troubleshooting techniques. Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand and power tools. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to industrial safety regulations. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
