Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining apartments and performing repairs and preventative maintenance services. Flexible schedule, with more time during the summer months. Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on apartment buildings, mechanical equipment, appliances, and furnishings
  • Promptly complete needed repairs requested by tenants
  • Perform basic plumbing and electrical diagnosis and repairs
  • Do drywall and painting repairs
  • Do initial diagnosis of appliance issues and do simple repairs
  • Diagnose heating and cooling issues
  • Supervise and coordinate maintenance work conducted by external contractors
  • Oversee apartment upgrades
  • Prepare apartments for new tenants
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Utilize computer management system for tracking work orders
  • Provide excellent customer service to tenants and managers
  • Oversee facilities maintenance to ensure a safe and functional environment Qualifications
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and repair equipment
  • Ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities effectively
  • Experience in performing plumbing, electrical and mechanical repairs
