Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of mechanical systems, appliances, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, and kitchen machinery. Your expertise will keep our facilities running smoothly, enhance operational efficiency, and support a safe, comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced setting while contributing to the overall success of our organization. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and kitchen equipment. Diagnose issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes efficiently. Install, upgrade, and calibrate appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks across multiple sites. Conduct repairs on air conditioning units, HVAC/R systems (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration), and other mechanical components to ensure optimal performance. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and future reference. Collaborate with team members to lead small maintenance projects or assist with complex repairs that require mechanical knowledge and leadership skills. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC system repair, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment maintenance. Proficiency reading schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues effectively. Hands-on experience with appliance installation and repair across various systems including HVAC & appliance technology. Knowledge of maintenance operations including repair & operations (MRO), equipment repair, and preventive maintenance strategies. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients about technical issues. Ability to operate company vehicles safely while adhering to all safety protocols. Leadership qualities that enable guiding junior staff or leading small maintenance projects confidently. Pay:
$24.00 - $25.00 per hour
