We are a family owned and managed company that has been in the multi-family industry for over 30 years. We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician with a minimum of 1 year in the Maintenance Industry.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assist in make readies with electrical, plumbing, and some carpentry as needed Complete work orders as directed by Community Manager and or Lead Maintenance Repair structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors Complete preventative maintenance program Complete grounds work such as grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping Have a working knowledge of HVAC systems and be able to maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems is preferred but not required for this position Represent the company in a professional manner at all times Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required

KEY COMPETENCIES

Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, vendors and team members Ability to use power and hand tools to effectively and safely complete maintenance tasks Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions Must have time management skills Positive attitude and team player

REQUIREMENTS

One year of property maintenance experience preferred Willing to rotate 24-hour emergency maintenance on-call Possession of valid driver's license and up to date vehicle insurance OR reliable transportation Prior to employment pass criminal background screening

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work involves daily exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, humidity, wind and precipitation. Frequent contact with residents in and outside of their apartment homes including those with disabilities Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, walk up and downstairs, and able to walk the property in its entirety. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, as needed.
