Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our facility's equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and safety. Responsibilities Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on crushers, conveyors, screens, and related equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with crushing equipment. Replace or repair worn parts, including bearings, belts, rollers, and hydraulic systems. Conduct scheduled maintenance to minimize downtime. Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety regulations. Operate heavy equipment as needed for maintenance tasks. Communicate via radio and in person with managers and crew regarding maintenance needs and equipment status. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks and equipment performance. Qualifications Minimum GED or equivalent. Minimum 1+ years of mechanical experience working with crushers, conveyors, screens, cones, or similar machinery. CDL preferred, but not required. Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with computers and maintenance tracking software preferred. MSHA certification is a plus but not required (training provided). First Aid certification preferred but not required (training provided). Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
