Responsibilities include:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment. Diagnose equipment problems and complete repairs to improve reliability and performance. Work on damaged electrical wiring when shortages, severed wires, or other electrical issues occur. Maintain and troubleshoot building HVAC equipment to keep climate-control systems functioning properly. Perform routine building and facility maintenance, including repairing structural damage and supporting general facility upkeep. Apply preventive measures to building systems and equipment to reduce the risk of future problems. Identify and repair potential safety hazards.. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to document repairs, preventive maintenance, and other maintenance activities. Assist with equipment calibration, installation, modification, and improvement projects. Fabricate and install parts as needed. Support food safety, quality, and sanitation standards. Work closely with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability, performance, and efficiency. Follow established safety procedures and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Qualifications Preferred Experience & Education At least 1-2 years of industrial maintenance experience. Maintenance Technician or mechanic experience preferred. Vocational training or technical education in industrial maintenance, mechanics, or a related field preferred. Skills & Knowledge Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting. Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems. Electrical wiring and electrical-system troubleshooting capabilities. Knowledge of HVAC systems. Knowledge of boilers, pumps, motors, and conveyor systems. Groundskeeping skills for outdoor facility areas as needed. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Experience troubleshooting PLCs and industrial control systems is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently. Strong attention to detail to ensure work is completed properly and warning signs of potential problems are not overlooked. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally and pleasantly with employees and others throughout the facility.
