Job Description

Overview We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of our manufacturing and residential facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment by performing a wide range of technical tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced setting that values innovation and teamwork. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct repairs including welding, electrical wiring, and mechanical adjustments to restore equipment functionality promptly. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and optimize manufacturing processes. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as residential painting, HVAC servicing, and general building upkeep. Supervise or collaborate with team members during complex repairs or projects to ensure safety and quality standards are met. Read schematics and technical diagrams to diagnose issues effectively and implement solutions efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in facilities or manufacturing maintenance. Proficiency in electrical systems, including wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and electrical component replacement. Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation troubleshooting and system upgrades. Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints accurately. Skilled in welding techniques for metal fabrication and repairs. Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management and record keeping. Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and other departments. Supervising or leadership experience to coordinate maintenance activities efficiently. Knowledge of residential painting techniques for interior and exterior projects. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Fluency in English for clear communication across teams and documentation purposes.
