Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in various maintenance tasks. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, performing repairs, and maintaining equipment to provide a safe and efficient environment. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal performance. Perform electrical repairs and troubleshoot issues related to electrical systems. Fabricate parts or components as needed to support maintenance tasks. Utilize logic controllers for monitoring and controlling equipment operations. Execute residential painting projects to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces. Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and repair requirements. Operate tools such as an Ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits and components. Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support. Perform welding tasks as necessary for repairs or fabrication of equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance. Proficiency in working with electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs. Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance tasks. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings effectively. Experience in residential painting techniques is preferred. Welding skills are a plus, with the ability to fabricate parts as needed. Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of guiding teams through projects. Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
