Job Description

The Comfort Suites is currently looking for highly motivated individuals to join our team. We currently have openings in our maintenance department. We offer competitive wages and benefits. All applicants must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of multitasking. All applicants must adhere to all safety and emergency procedures. Must possess the ability to work well with other team members. Maintain a professional appearance in appropriate uniform at all times. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays and nights. All applicants must also demonstrate a positive attitude with an outgoing and friendly personality towards all guests.
Position Purpose:
Maintain all inside and outside Hotel areas and assets to an acceptable quality standard that maintains the hotel's #1 ranking in the country.
Essential Responsibilities:
Provides professional and courteous service at all times. Handles all maintenance and preventative maintenance to include: heating, HVAC units , plumbing, preventative maintenance, ice machines lighting, emergency generator, switch room. Ensures all projects are completed according to specifications and on time. Understands and practices all lock out-tag out procedures in accordance with OSHA standards. Perform all guestroom and public area preventive maintenance services as outlined for your hotel. Performs maintenance checks of equipment and logs properly. Reports all safety and security concerns to the Head Engineer immediately. Ensures all tools, supplies, and key inventories are secure. Responds to all emergency situations, prepared to assist. Preventive maintenance in rooms, pubic areas, and outside. Performs inventory duties as required. Maintains cleanliness of grounds. Ensures cleanliness and orderliness of all work space and storage areas. Attends staff meetings as required. Complete projects as determined by the Head Engineer Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility. Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility. Will be required to regularly use commercial chemicals Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 75 pounds. Will be required to work mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays.
Work Remotely No Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour
