MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Do you enjoy helping guests and working as part of a team? We want YOU on our team! We are looking for a dependable, motivated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our Hampton by Hilton team. The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to jump in wherever needed and understands that great maintenance plays an important role in creating an exceptional guest experience. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance throughout the hotel and guest rooms Quickly identify, troubleshoot, and address maintenance issues Respond to guest room maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner Perform repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, lighting, doors, locks, furniture, and general building maintenance Inspect guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and mechanical spaces Maintain and monitor hotel equipment and systems Assist with pool maintenance and daily pool operations Maintain proper pool chemical levels and help ensure pool areas remain clean and safe Complete routine inspections and maintenance logs Assist with fire, life-safety, and emergency procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective action Assist with hotel safety and security procedures Respond appropriately to maintenance emergencies Work with outside contractors and vendors when necessary Help with seasonal maintenance, grounds upkeep, and general property appearance Support other hotel departments when needed Be willing to jump in and help wherever the team needs you What We're Looking For Previous hotel, commercial, building, or facilities maintenance experience preferred Experience with preventive maintenance Pool maintenance experience or background preferred Safety and security experience is a plus Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize and address issues quickly and efficiently Friendly, professional attitude with excellent guest-service skills Reliable, dependable, and punctual Able to work independently while also being a strong team player Flexible and willing to assist with different hotel needs Weekend availability required Ability to respond to hotel maintenance emergencies when needed Pride in your work and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, comfortable property Be Part of Creating Great Guest Experiences At Hampton by Hilton, maintenance is about more than fixing things — it's about making sure our guests have a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable stay .
