We are looking for someone who already has experience with hardscaping and understands how to properly install paver patios from base preparation through final installation. You should be comfortable operating equipment, working independently when needed, and maintaining a high standard of quality. This will start as short-term/project-based work for several patio jobs, with the opportunity to turn into consistent or full-time work for the right person. Responsibilities Install paver patios, walkways, borders, and related hardscape features Excavate and properly prepare areas for paver installation Install and compact crusher run/aggregate base to proper grade Screed bedding material and accurately lay pavers Make cuts using appropriate saws and equipment Install edging, joint sand/polymeric sand, and complete final compaction Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini skid steers/Dingos, compactors, and other landscaping/hardscaping equipment Assist with grading, drainage, material movement, and site preparation Read measurements, establish proper elevations, and maintain correct pitch for drainage Keep equipment, tools, and job sites clean and organized Work efficiently while maintaining professional-quality workmanship Requirements Previous paver patio/hardscape installation experience required Must know how to properly prepare a paver base and lay pavers Experience operating construction or landscaping equipment required Valid driver's license and ability to drive to job sites preferred/required unless you are located close enough for pickup Reliable and able to show up on time Able to perform physical outdoor work and lift construction materials Must be drug-free Must take pride in quality work and be able to work as part of a team Compensation Pay is per completed project, typically ranging from $750-$5,000+ depending on the size, scope, and complexity of the project. Compensation for each project will be agreed upon before work begins.
