Job Summary This is a hands-on maintenance technician position for 80 Room hotel property. The position is primarily responsible for maintaining the building, grounds and mechanical equipment with particular attention towards guestroom maintenance. Responsibilities and Duties

• Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
• Check work orders and communicate with other department personnel.
• Perform preventive maintenance work orders.
• Monitor and maintain all laundry and kitchen equipment.
• Monitor and maintain outdoor swimming pool during season
• Check HVAC equipment; clean units, change filters and perform repairs as needed
• Clean and maintain hotel grounds, parking lot and sidewalks.
• Change or repair door locks as needed.
• Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas.
• Perform guest requests as assigned.
• Assist in all phases of repair work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Maintain the proper use, maintenance and storage of all tools. Handle chemicals for designated uses/surfaces. . Perform needed plumbing or electrical repairs as needed
• All other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills
• Clean and professional appearance.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, written and verbal.
• Ability to work at a fast pace at a busy hotel.
• Must be available to work weekday and weekend shifts.
• Great organizational skills and record keeping.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay:
