Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment for staff and customers alike. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your technical skills in appliance repair, HVAC system troubleshooting, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair while contributing to the smooth running of our operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance. Diagnose and repair appliances, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment using schematics and technical manuals. Install new appliances and mechanical systems following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct troubleshooting for HVAC system issues including air conditioning repairs and HVAC & appliance technology diagnostics. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used in maintenance management systems. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between sites as needed. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or construction projects to ensure timely completion. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair. Knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, air conditioning repairs, and HVAC system servicing. Familiarity with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices across various mechanical and electrical systems. Ability to operate construction tools safely and effectively; previous construction experience is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles; clean driving record preferred.
