Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician and become a vital part of ensuring our facilities operate smoothly, safely, and efficiently. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our property. Your expertise will help us uphold high standards of safety and operational excellence while providing exceptional service to our internal teams. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, HVAC units, refrigeration equipment, kitchen appliances, and other building systems to ensure optimal operation. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC & refrigeration systems, mechanical equipment, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals. Install, maintain, HVAC systems, air conditioning units, and other mechanical devices with precision and care. Operate company vehicles safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment as needed for maintenance tasks across the hotel. Read and interpret schematics, technical diagrams, and system manuals to diagnose issues accurately and execute repairs efficiently. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system performance logs for compliance and future reference. Collaborate with team members to lead small maintenance projects or assist in larger construction or renovation efforts as required. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or mechanical systems repair. Demonstrated knowledge of schematics, technical manuals, and troubleshooting procedures for complex mechanical or electrical systems. Hands-on experience with appliance installation, kitchen equipment maintenance, HVAC & air conditioning repair, and equipment upkeep. Mechanical knowledge related to construction projects or building infrastructure is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients when needed. Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or lead small teams confidently. Relevant certifications in HVAC & appliance technology are preferred; ongoing training in MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) practices is a plus. Pay:
$15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 42.0 per week
