In this energetic role, you will support the upkeep and safety of swimming pools and spas, ensuring they operate smoothly. Your hands-on work will involve assisting with pool cleaning, equipment maintenance, water chemistry balancing, and troubleshooting to deliver a pristine and safe environment for our customers. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop technical skills in pool systems while contributing to a fun, outdoor-focused workplace. Responsibilities Assist with routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing, and debris removal to maintain optimal water clarity and cleanliness. Support the inspection, repair, and maintenance of pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders using hand tools and power tools. Help monitor and balance pool chemistry by handling water treatment chemicals safely and accurately to ensure proper pH levels and sanitizer effectiveness. Assist with pool closing services. Operate company vehicles responsibly for transporting equipment or supplies to various aquatic facilities while adhering to safety protocols. Follow all safety procedures related to chemical handling, outdoor work conditions, and equipment operation to maintain a secure working environment. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally during routine visits or inspections. Requirements Prior experience with pool maintenance or aquatic facility operations is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Basic mechanical knowledge related to pool plumbing systems, pumps, filters, and water treatment equipment. Ability to handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately while following all safety guidelines. Familiarity with troubleshooting pool equipment issues and performing routine repairs or maintenance tasks. Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for lifting, bending, standing, and manual labor. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards clients and team members alike. Valid driver's license and transportation.
