Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Field Service Technician with s trong inspections, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance on large industrial doors and related equipment . This full-time role requires hands-on technical ability, strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and a customer-focused mindset. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment, be comfortable working independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs on vertical lifting, tip-up, bi-fold, and rolling industrial doors. Use a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., drills, saws, impact wrenches) to complete tasks safely and efficiently. Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues. Utilize Microsoft and Adobe programs to read, review, and work from drawings and technical documents. Accurately measure using both metric and standard tools. Demonstrate solid mathematical abilities for measurements and repair-related calculations. Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in proper working condition. Follow standard work processes and adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements. Attend safety training, meetings, audits, and programs as required. Collaborate effectively with team members and customers to deliver professional, high-quality service. Support department and company goals; perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications:

3+ years of mechanical, field service, or industrial maintenance experience preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and electrical components. Strong assembly knowledge and technical aptitude. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in varying environments. Self-motivated with a strong dedication to safety and customer service. Ability to learn and follow structured processes and adapt to changing tasks. High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications are a plus.

Work Environment & Requirements:

Must pass government background checks and random drug screenings. Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and working at heights up to 100 ft using aerial lifts and fall protection gear. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in the field.
