Maintenance Technician Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of repair, renovation, and maintenance tasks to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with renovation projects, including tub installations, demolition, deck work, drywall installation, and painting. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to maintaining high standards of property upkeep and improvement. Duties Conduct routine maintenance and repairs across multiple areas of the property or facility. Perform renovation tasks such as tub installations, including demo work and new installations. Demolish existing structures or fixtures as needed for renovation or repair projects. Install and repair decks, ensuring safety and durability standards are met. Handle drywall installation, patching, and finishing to prepare spaces for painting or occupancy. Prepare surfaces through sanding, priming, and painting to enhance appearance and protect materials. Troubleshoot issues promptly and efficiently to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with team members and contractors on larger renovation projects to ensure timely completion. Experience Proven experience in maintenance, renovation, or construction work with a focus on residential or commercial properties. Hands-on experience with tub installation, demolition work, deck construction or repair, drywall installation, and painting is highly preferred. Knowledge of safety protocols related to construction and maintenance activities. Ability to operate various hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude are essential for success in this role.
