Maintenance Technician Pay:
$19.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Occasional evenings and weekends as operational needs require Position Summary We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Lead Maintenance Technician to help keep our production equipment and facility operating safely and efficiently. This role performs preventive maintenance, diagnoses equipment failures, completes mechanical and electrical repairs, and supports emergency maintenance needs. The Lead Maintenance Technician will also help coordinate daily maintenance priorities, guide other technicians when needed, and promote safe work practices throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has broad industrial maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and working knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Key Responsibilities Lead and prioritize day-to-day maintenance activities in coordination with production and management. Troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Respond promptly to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs before and during production. Diagnose equipment problems, repair or replace defective parts, test equipment, and make necessary adjustments. Dismantle, move, and reassemble machinery safely when required for maintenance or repair. Align and calibrate machinery and components to support safe, efficient operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform basic welding, fabrication, machining, plumbing, carpentry, and general facility-maintenance tasks. Assist with training and supporting maintenance team members. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, preventive maintenance, and parts usage. Follow OSHA requirements and established procedures for lockout/tagout, confined-space entry, and other workplace hazards. Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend practical improvements. Adapt to changing priorities and complete additional duties as assigned. Maintain regular and dependable attendance. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least one year of industrial mechanic or manufacturing-maintenance experience. At least one year of experience with: Hydraulic systems Electrical systems Plumbing Mechanical troubleshooting and repair Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, schematics, and equipment specifications. Knowledge of OSHA safety practices, including lockout/tagout procedures. Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and guide others when necessary. Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Five or more years of industrial or manufacturing-maintenance experience. Technical degree, certification, or equivalent training in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Previous lead, supervisory, or team-training experience. Two or more years of welding and fabrication experience. Experience with compressed-air and pneumatic systems. Experience troubleshooting industrial electronics and controls. Knowledge of confined-space procedures. Familiarity with maintenance-management or work-order systems. Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on position. The employee must be able to: Stand and walk for extended periods. Regularly bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, reach, and work in varying positions. Frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds. Occasionally move items weighing more than 75 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment. Communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.
