ProAmpac is seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to keep our flexible packaging production lines running safely and efficiently. In this on-site role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on high-speed manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues, and support continuous improvement projects. You'll interpret schematics and manuals, document work in maintenance systems, and partner closely with production and quality teams. Working in a safety-first, collaborative culture, you'll help drive reliability, reduce downtime, and support innovative, sustainable packaging solutions for global customers. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime Conduct routine inspections, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure optimal machine performance Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs in maintenance systems Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to resolve equipment problems Follow safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and 5 S/housekeeping standards Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects Monitor spare parts inventory and communicate needs to supervisors Support training of operators on basic equipment care and safe operation Required Skills Industrial equipment maintenance Mechanical troubleshooting Electrical troubleshooting Pneumatic and hydraulic systems Preventive maintenance (PM) Blueprints and schematics reading Lockout/tagout and OSHA safety Welding and basic fabrication Root cause analysis Computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
