MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, packaging, warehouse, and utility equipment, including electrical systems, motors, control panels, and conveying systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on all equipment in accordance with established schedules, manufacturer specifications, and plant standards. Support equipment setup, changeovers, and modifications; construct or modify electrical and mechanical systems using schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions. Monitor and maintain utilities systems (boilers, chillers, cooling towers, compressed air, etc.), including performing testing and routine analysis to ensure proper operation. Document maintenance activities in CMMS and collaborate with Operators, Coordinators, and Managers to resolve issues, uphold food safety and quality standards, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production, packaging, warehouse, and utility equipment in an industrial environment. Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including experience with PLCs and/or relay logic, motors, control panels, and use of diagnostic tools (volt/ohm meter, amp probe, etc.). Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to support equipment repair and modification. Working knowledge of industrial utilities systems (boilers, compressed air, chilled water, cooling towers, etc.). Ability to safely use hand and power tools and perform maintenance work in a manufacturing environment. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to complete assigned projects and resolve issues.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
