Operations Manager - Carpet Cleaning & Floor Care TrueClean Floor Care is building a residential and commercial carpet and floor-care operation in Northern Virginia, and we're looking for an experienced, hands-on leader who wants the opportunity to help build the business — not simply manage an existing team. We provide the investment. You help build the operation. The company provides professional vans, truck-mounted and commercial cleaning equipment, tools, marketing, lead generation, CRM systems and administrative support. We're looking for someone with industry experience who can turn those resources into a growing, profitable operation and build a team underneath them. Compensation $60,000 base salary Performance-based incentives Sales opportunities Expected total compensation of $70,000-$100,000+ Company vehicle and fuel Compensation is structured so that as the business, revenue and team grow, your earning potential grows with it. What You'll Do This will initially be a hands-on leadership position. You'll work in the field, oversee production, interact with customers and help establish the operating standards for TrueClean. As the business grows, you'll recruit and develop technicians underneath you and transition from primarily producing work to managing the operation.

Responsibilities include:

Perform and oversee residential and commercial cleaning projects Manage daily operations, scheduling and production Recruit, hire, train and develop technicians Build and lead a high-performing field team Maintain excellent workmanship and customer-service standards Manage company vehicles, equipment and supplies Monitor technician productivity, labor and material costs Maintain job profitability and minimize callbacks Help develop new residential and commercial business Build relationships with commercial customers and property managers Develop recurring commercial floor-care accounts Identify opportunities to increase average job value and revenue Monitor key performance indicators and operating results Develop processes and systems that allow the company to scale Services Include Carpet cleaning Upholstery cleaning Hard-surface floor cleaning Tile and grout cleaning Commercial floor care Specialty floor cleaning Recurring commercial floor-maintenance programs Experience with truck-mounted carpet cleaning systems, extraction equipment, CRBs, rotary machines, commercial floor equipment or similar professional cleaning systems is highly desirable. Additional Sales & Career Development The person selected for this position will also be cross-trained with our affiliated company, The Grout Medic , an established tile and grout restoration business. You'll learn how to inspect projects, identify customer needs, prepare estimates and sell higher-value tile and grout restoration services. This gives the right person an opportunity to develop beyond production into sales, estimating, operations and multi-service business leadership. Who We're Looking For Experience in one or more of the following is preferred: Professional carpet cleaning Commercial floor care Water/property restoration Tile and grout cleaning/restoration Janitorial or facility floor care Residential home services Field-service operations Managing technicians or production crews IICRC certifications are a plus but are not required for the right candidate.
