A breakdown doesn't just cost us time — it costs us product, food safety compliance, and customer confidence. We need someone who treats "preventative" as the whole point of the job: catching problems before they become downtime, not just fixing what breaks. What You'll Do Build and run a preventative maintenance schedule across production equipment at both our facilities (441 Water St and 435 East Rd) Diagnose issues independently — you won't have someone standing over your shoulder telling you what's wrong Learn our specific equipment, food-grade sanitation requirements, and production rhythms, and adapt your approach as you go Keep clear, dated maintenance records Work alongside production, sanitation, and management teams — sometimes coordinating around active production schedules, which means occasional pushback on timing or priorities Flag recurring issues and recommend fixes, not just patch symptoms Who We're Looking For Experience in food/beverage manufacturing or a similarly regulated production environment (sanitation, allergen, or food-safety awareness a strong plus) Comfortable working independently and figuring out what's actually needed, not just what's on a checklist Genuinely invested in learning the equipment and the "why" behind procedures — not looking for a job where you clock in and wait for a ticket Able to work well with a diverse team across departments and shifts Thick enough skin to hold your ground professionally Mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills; comfortable with hand and power tools What We Offer $25/hour PTO after 90 days Health, dental, and vision insurance (after 90 days)
