About the Role We're hiring a Level 1 Home Maintenance Technician to join our growing, mission-driven team. Technician I employees are developing technicians learning Para's standards, processes, and technical fundamentals. They support senior technicians while building the skills necessary to independently perform routine work. You will have the opportunity to learn on the job as you deliver a new kind of home service - one that prevents problems before they start. You help homeowners care for their homes as if it were your own. This role is focused on learning craftsmanship and customer service discipline. What You'll Do Assist on service calls and Para's core maintenance checklist during member visits. Perform basic repairs and maintenance under supervision. Prepare tools and materials for visits Maintain job-site cleanliness Communicate professionally with customers Use Para's mobile app to log work and track progress Represent Para's standards of quality, respect, and professionalism What We're Looking For 2-3 years' experience in residential maintenance, remodeling, or facilities Moderate home-repair knowledge and demonstrated problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer-care skills Hungry to learn and demonstrates ownership and pride. Comfortable working safely in the field Tech-savvy (able to use mobile apps for checklists and documentation) Valid driver's license and clean record Able to occasionally lift 26-50 lbs and use ladders safely (Medium Duty work) Background check and state-appropriate drug screen required 90-day probation period with performance review Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay from $25 DOE, with regular reviews Health & dental insurance, paid time off, and on-the-job training Clear growth paths — Tech 1 → Tech 2 → Lead Monday-Friday day schedule (occasional weekends) Why People Love Working at Para Purpose-driven work: We prevent problems before they happen.
