Job Description

We are a nationwide network of addiction treatment centers providing evidence-based care for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Through individualized treatment and a full continuum of care, we help clients build the skills, confidence, and foundation needed for lasting recovery and a healthier, more fulfilling life. About the Role As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for keeping our treatment facility in safe, working order for the clients who live there and the staff who support them. You will handle routine maintenance and repairs across the building, including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting work, as well as upkeep of roofs, windows, floors, doors, woodwork, plaster, and drywall. You will also maintain the grounds and landscaping so the property stays clean and welcoming. This is a hands-on role, and you will be the person staff turn to when something breaks or needs attention. You will work with hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, and other power and hand tools, move furniture and equipment as needed, and keep an eye on facility systems such as fire prevention, plumbing, electrical, and backflow. You will need to work independently, prioritize your own day, and collaborate with facility leadership to keep problems from becoming bigger ones. Key Responsibilities Maintain landscaping and exterior grounds. Perform electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and painting work. Perform routine maintenance on roofs, windows, floors, doors, woodwork, plaster, drywall and other parts of building structures. Perform routine pool cleaning and maintenance, including monitoring cleanliness and identifying equipment or water-quality concerns. Perform pest control and extermination services as needed. Troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on facility appliances and equipment. Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform basic repairs on air conditioning and HVAC systems, and identify when outside service is required. Repair equipment or structures using tools such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, and other power and manual tools. Move furniture and equipment as needed. Identify and report larger maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or repairs requiring a licensed or specialized contractor. Perform other facilities maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to use various power and hand tools efficiently. Prior experience working in a facility setting and familiarity with required systems (fire prevention, plumbing, electrical, backflow).
