The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various building systems and amenities to provide a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests and staff. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. Duties Perform plumbing repairs, maintenance, and system repairs to ensure all water and waste systems operate efficiently. Conduct electrical work including troubleshooting, repairs, and installations to maintain electrical safety and functionality. Maintain facilities equipment such as HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance through regular inspections and repairs. Use hand tools effectively for various maintenance tasks including carpentry, painting, and general repairs. Service HVAC units to ensure proper heating, ventilation, and air conditioning throughout the property. Carry out carpentry tasks such as repairing or replacing doors, windows, furniture, or fixtures. Maintain building interiors by repairing walls, ceilings, flooring, tiles, and carpets as needed. Perform plumbing system maintenance and repair to prevent leaks and ensure proper water flow. Conduct maintenance painting to uphold the aesthetic standards of the hotel interior. Repair tiles and carpets to maintain a clean and attractive environment. Assist with general facilities management tasks to support overall hotel operations. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff. Qualifications Proven experience in building maintenance or a similar role within the hospitality industry preferred. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical work, HVAC systems, carpentry, and interior maintenance. Proficiency with hand tools and basic repair equipment required for various maintenance tasks. Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and perform repairs promptly. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces.
