Full-Time | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Join a Growing Manufacturing Team We are a leading manufacturer of nutritional supplements dedicated to improving lives through high-quality products. We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Facilities Technician to support our Maintenance team in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity , offering the potential for permanent employment based on performance and business needs. Responsibilities Conduct daily inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs, system failures, structural damage, or safety concerns. Respond to maintenance requests, including repairs to locks, utilities, fixtures, and furniture assembly/installation. Perform general building maintenance, including minor plumbing, drywall repair, painting, and light carpentry. Maintain restrooms by ensuring hands-free faucets, stalls, and paper dispensers are functioning properly. Inspect and test appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, and microwaves. Keep parking lots, sidewalks, and exterior areas clean and free of debris, standing water, and litter. Monitor and make basic adjustments to HVAC equipment and Building Automation Systems (BAS). Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors for services such as pest control, elevator maintenance, and specialized repairs. Track, update, and close maintenance work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Respond to facility emergencies, including power, water, compressed air outages, and fire alarm events. Qualifications Experience performing facilities maintenance, building repairs, or general maintenance work. Comfortable using hand and power tools and working with basic electrical equipment. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and/or HVAC systems. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, algebra, and percentages. Basic computer skills, including email, web navigation, and logging into company systems. Forklift certification or previous forklift experience is a plus.
