Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment, supporting our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hands-on technical work and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities Repair and maintain plumbing systems, electrical fixtures, HVAC systems and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform carpentry tasks such as repairing doors, windows, floors, stairs and cabinets.
  • Conduct painting, patching and general cosmetic repairs to walls, ceilings and other surfaces.
  • Install or replace appliances, fixtures, and piping as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order indoor and outdoor spaces, including trash, recycling, and landscaping.
  • Respond promptly to client maintenance requests and document completed work.
  • Identify and report major repair needs or safety hazards to the supervisor.
  • Occasionally perform renovation or improvement projects, such as installing new doors, windows or flooring.
Skills:
Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments Proficiency in electrical work, including understanding schematics and using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters Skilled in welding techniques and residential painting for various repair projects Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting automated systems Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with residents, staff, and vendors Supervising experience or leadership qualities to guide junior team members when needed Ability to read technical schematics and understand complex mechanical or electrical systems in detail Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities efficiently Basic understanding of safety protocols related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities upkeep Join us as a Maintenance Technician if you're eager to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while ensuring our facilities operate smoothly! Pay:
$26.00 - $27.00 per hour
