Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Handyman to maintain our properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks across residential, commercial, or industrial properties. This role is vital in ensuring that facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained, contributing to a positive environment for occupants and visitors alike. The ideal applicant will possess a proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality service. Responsibilities Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, drywall, painting, and other building components. Install fixtures, appliances, doors, windows, and other hardware as required. Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance. Respond promptly to urgent repair requests to minimize downtime or inconvenience. Collaborate with property managers or clients to prioritize maintenance tasks. Document completed work and report on ongoing issues for future resolution. Follow safety protocols and adhere to local building codes during all repair activities. Skills Proven experience in general maintenance or handyman roles with a broad skill set across multiple trades. Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and basic appliance repairs. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members or clients. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely and effectively. Flexibility to handle diverse tasks in various environments while maintaining attention to detail.
