Buscamos un mecánico responsable y con experiencia práctica que entienda el ritmo y las exigencias de una planta de alimentos. Esta posición será responsable de reparar equipos, completar mantenimiento preventivo y responder rápidamente cuando una máquina deje de funcionar. Bilingual Spanish and English is highly preferred, but not required. Spanish will help this person work effectively with our production team. Enough English is needed to understand manuals, safety instructions and work orders and to communicate across departments.

Responsibilities / Responsabilidades

Troubleshoot and repair industrial production and packaging equipment. Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic problems. Respond quickly to breakdowns and help Production resume safely. Identify recurring failures and help implement lasting solutions. Document repairs, parts used and required follow-up work. Support equipment installations, rebuilds and improvement projects. Follow lockout/tagout, GMP, SQF and food-safety requirements. Communicate closely with English- and Spanish-speaking production employees. Qualifications / Requisitos

Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience. Food or beverage manufacturing experience strongly preferred. Commercial bakery, tortilla, snack-food or packaging experience is especially valuable. Experience with conveyors, motors, bearings, gearboxes, sensors and pneumatic systems. Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems. PLC, VFD, oven, fryer, burner or packaging-equipment experience is a plus. Ability to work independently and remain calm during equipment breakdowns. Bilingual English and Spanish skills are highly preferred.
