Bonus based on performance Free uniforms Opportunity for advancement Training & development J ob Summary Soap Lake Resort is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across our historic Inn, cottages, lodges, spa facilities, and resort grounds. This role ensures the property remains safe, functional, and guest‑ready at all times. You'll handle routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and urgent service calls with professionalism and efficiency. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates clearly, and thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Perform daily maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs Complete work orders promptly and document all tasks in the maintenance system Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment, guest rooms, spa systems, and resort facilities Troubleshoot and resolve urgent issues quickly to minimize guest impact Maintain resort grounds, walkways, lighting, signage, and outdoor amenities Assist with seasonal projects, renovations, and property upgrades Support Solstice BioSpa equipment upkeep (sauna, hydrogen systems, lighting arrays, etc.) Ensure all work meets safety standards and complies with resort policies Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and management to prioritize tasks Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours emergencies Qualifications 2-5 years of property maintenance or building operations experience Strong skills in general repairs: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and equipment troubleshooting Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors in all seasons Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable responding to after‑hours maintenance calls when scheduled Strong communication and time‑management skills Hospitality or multi‑unit property experience preferred
