In this energetic position, you will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining HVAC ductwork and ventilation systems across commercial and industrial settings. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of HVAC ductwork using specialized equipment such as pressure washers, industrial vacuums, and hand tools to remove dust, debris, mold, and other contaminants. Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach ductwork areas while adhering to all safety protocols. Operate various cleaning equipment such as duct cleaning tools to ensure optimal system performance. Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy equipment or duct sections safely with proper techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct outdoor work involving outdoor ventilation systems or exhaust ducts with attention to safety and environmental considerations. Follow strict safety protocols including the use of fire extinguishers, PPE such as gloves and masks, and proper handling of hazardous materials during cleaning procedures. Maintain detailed records of work performed, safety inspections, and equipment used during each job. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about work progress and addressing any questions or concerns professionally. Experience Prior experience in industrial or residental cleaning environments is preferred, especially with duct cleaning or HVAC maintenance. Familiarity with the use of hand tools and industrial cleaning machinery is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety procedures related to working at heights using ladders and crawlspaces and handling heavy or hazardous materials. Outdoor work experience is a plus, demonstrating comfort working in various weather conditions. Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols meticulously to ensure safe operations at all times. Strong manual handling skills with the ability to lift heavy objects safely while maintaining proper posture.
